Benefits of exercise tend to increase with the amount of exercise but even 1 hour per week makes a significant difference.
Strength training can counteract the loss of muscle mass seen in many cancer treatments, including hormone therapy for prostate cancer.
Exercise improves the quality of life in people living with cancer or under palliative care.
